We don't select which reviews we publish. We show them all. Every single review on our Google Business Profile is five stars, and across Google and Rightmove combined we hold a 5.0 average from 47 reviews. That's not a number we're spinning, it's the actual, verifiable rating on our public profiles. Here's what some of those reviews actually say.

On the marketing itself

“Unlike anything I'd experienced with other estate agents — the professional photography, videos and personal service were outstanding. The final result exceeded our expectations.” — James & Sarah T., Morpeth, sold 2025.

“The cottage sold for well over asking price at the open house. Jonathan's approach is completely different to any agent we'd used before — genuinely impressive.” — Catherine R., Rothbury, sold 2025.

On what happens after another agent hasn't worked

“We'd had our house on the market with another agent for 6 months with only two viewings. Jonathan sold it in two weeks with 14 viewings and a final price above asking.” — N. & G. Whitfield, Ashington, sold 2025.

This is one of the reviews we hear echoed most often: a property that sat quietly with another agent, then sold quickly once it was properly marketed. It's not that the house changed. The marketing did.

Real numbers, not marketing spin

“53 viewings and 10 offers”

“We had 53 viewings and 10 offers at our open house. Jonathan managed the whole process brilliantly — we sold for significantly more than we'd hoped.” — M. & D. Henderson, Ellington, sold 2025. Verified Google review.

On the buying side too

Reviews aren't only from sellers. “Viewings were well organised with refreshments on offer. Our house purchase completed in around seven weeks with no chain. I would recommend Jonathan to anyone in Northumberland.” — Robert T., Alnwick, bought 2025. “We registered as buyers and were alerted to a property before it reached Rightmove.” — P. & L. Armstrong, Morpeth, bought 2025.

Why we publish everything, unfiltered

Reviews only mean something if they're genuine and complete. We hold a Silver award in the Best Estate Agent Guide, and every review we've received is verified on Google or Rightmove, not hand-picked or edited. A lot of agents quietly publish only their strongest reviews, or ask for a review before the sale has actually completed, while the harder parts of the process are still unresolved. We don't do either. What's published is everything, whenever it was left, good or bad, and there simply hasn't been a bad one to leave out.

What the reviews have in common

Read enough of them and a pattern emerges that isn't really about us at all, it's about what sellers actually value once the sale is done. It's rarely the asking price alone. It's communication that didn't go quiet for weeks at a time. It's photography and video that made the property look like itself rather than like every other listing. It's an open house that turned a quiet market into competing offers on a single day, rather than months of scattered viewings that went nowhere. And for buyers, it's being told about a property before it reached the portals at all, rather than competing with everyone else from day one.

If you'd rather hear it directly

Reviews are one thing. Actually speaking to someone who has been through the process is another, and it's often more convincing than anything written down. If you'd like that, just ask us and we'll arrange for a past client to take your call, with no obligation and no pressure either way.

You can read every review, unfiltered, on our reviews page. If you're weighing up who to instruct, that's usually a faster way to decide than anything we could write here.
